This compact Full Inverter heat pump is specially developed for small to medium-sized pools and combines powerful performance with low energy consumption, quiet operation, and great ease of use.

With a heating capacity of up to 4.5 kW, this model is a great middle ground within the Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus series. The heat pump is ideal when you need just a bit more power than the 3 kW model offers, but do not want to place a large swimming pool heat pump next to your pool.

The built-in Full Inverter technology ensures that the compressor and fan automatically adjust their output based on the heat demand. As a result, the heat pump operates efficiently when high power is needed and scales back as soon as the pool is close to the desired temperature.

Full Inverter technology for lower energy consumption

A traditional on/off heat pump mainly operates at maximum power and switches off when the desired water temperature is reached. The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus operates more intelligently.

When the pool water still needs significant heating, the heat pump can use a large portion of its available power. As the water gets closer to the set temperature, the inverter automatically lowers the speed.

This results in more even heating and has two major advantages: lower energy consumption and less noise.

Especially once the pool is up to temperature, the heat pump can continue to run at a lower capacity for long periods to maintain the temperature efficiently.

Heating capacity of 4.5 kW

Under favorable conditions, the W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus provides a heating capacity of 1.2 to 4.5 kW. At an outside temperature of 15°C, the heating capacity is approximately 0.84 to 3.2 kW.

This makes the 4.5 kW version suitable for small to medium-sized swimming pools.

For the normal swimming season from approximately May to August, we recommend this model for pools up to approximately 12 m³. If you wish to use the heat pump during the longer season from April to October, a pool of up to approximately 9 m³ is a better guideline.

Actual performance always depends on factors including outside temperature, wind, desired water temperature, pool location, and the use of a good pool cover.

Highly energy-efficient with a COP of up to 10

The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus extracts the majority of its heat from the outside air. As a result, it can deliver significantly more heat to the pool water than it consumes in electricity.

Under favorable conditions, the COP can reach up to 10.

This means that under optimal conditions, the heat pump can produce up to approximately 10 kW of heat for every 1 kW of electrical energy used.

At an outside temperature of 26°C, the COP is between approximately 5.5 and 10. At an outside temperature of 15°C, it is between approximately 4.4 and 6.0.

This makes the Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus an attractive solution if you want to heat your pool regularly without using a traditional electric pool heater.

Heating and cooling

The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus can not only heat, but also actively cool.

For heating, the desired water temperature can be set between 15°C and 40°C. In cooling mode, the setting range is between 8°C and 28°C.

During spring and autumn, you use the heat pump to keep the pool pleasantly warm. If the pool becomes too warm during a hot summer period, you can use the cooling mode to lower the water temperature.

Built-in Wi-Fi

With the integrated Wi-Fi module, you can easily control the W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus via your smartphone.

This allows you to, for example, adjust the desired water temperature or manage the heat pump settings without having to walk to the device every time.

Would you prefer to control the heat pump directly? You can of course do that via the control panel on the unit itself.

Quiet operation

A heat pump is often placed close to the pool, terrace, or house. A low noise level is therefore important.

The Full Inverter technology helps with this. As soon as less heating power is required, the compressor and fan can operate at a lower speed.

The noise level of the 4.5 kW version is around 40 to 46 dB(A) at a distance of 1 meter. At a distance of 10 meters, this is approximately 25 to 31 dB(A).

This allows the Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus to combine significant heating power with relatively quiet operation.

Automatic flow switch

The built-in flow switch checks whether enough pool water is flowing through the heat pump.

When the filter pump is switched on and there is sufficient water circulation, the heat pump can operate automatically. If the water circulation stops, the system detects this.

This makes the heat pump particularly user-friendly and ensures that the heat pump's operation can easily be combined with the pool's filter system.

Titanium heat exchanger

The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus features a titanium heat exchanger. The pool water flows through this heat exchanger and absorbs the heat from the heat pump.

Titanium is highly resistant to pool water and also makes this heat pump suitable for pools that use a saltwater system or salt electrolysis.

This allows you to use the Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus with both traditionally treated pool water and saltwater pools.

Handy 32/38 mm connections

The heat pump is equipped with 32/38 mm connections. These are common hose sizes for above-ground pools and compact pool installations.

This makes it easy to incorporate the heat pump into an existing installation.

The heat pump is placed after the filter installation. The filtered pool water flows through the heat exchanger, is heated, and then returns to the pool.

For filter pumps with a high water flow rate, we recommend using a bypass. This allows you to precisely regulate how much water is directed through the heat pump.

Minimum 2 m³ per hour water flow

For proper operation, the 4.5 kW version requires a water flow of approximately 2 m³ per hour.

It is therefore important that the pool pump being used has sufficient capacity.

Insufficient water flow can cause the heat pump to malfunction. With a very powerful filter pump, the flow can be regulated using a bypass.

No heavy-duty power required

Despite the heating capacity of 4.5 kW, you do not need 380V heavy-duty power for this heat pump.

The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus operates on 220-240V / 1 phase / 50 Hz and can therefore be connected to a 230V outlet within a suitable electrical installation.

The maximum electrical power consumption is approximately 1.20 kW and the maximum current is approximately 6.2 amperes.

Operates down to -7°C outside temperature

The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus has a wide operating temperature range of approximately -7°C to 43°C.

This allows the heat pump to function even at relatively low outside temperatures, making it suitable for significantly extending the swimming season.

Please keep in mind that an air/water heat pump remains dependent on the outside temperature. At 25°C outside air, it can heat more efficiently and powerfully than when it is, for example, 10°C outside.

For use in early and late season, it is therefore extra important to cover the pool well at night.

Ideal in combination with a pool cover

A good heat pump is only one part of an energy-efficient pool installation. A large portion of heat loss occurs via the water surface.

Always use a suitable cover when not swimming.

This keeps the accumulated heat in the pool longer and means the W’eau Mini Inverter needs to run at high power less often. This not only results in lower energy consumption but also helps to get the pool up to temperature faster and keep it there.

Compact size

Despite its heating capacity, the W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus is a compact heat pump. This makes it particularly suitable for above-ground pools and gardens where you do not want to place a large heat pump installation.

The compact construction makes it easier to find a suitable spot next to the pool installation.

When placing it, always ensure there is sufficient free space around the heat pump. Both the air intake and the horizontal air outlet must remain completely unobstructed.

Smart choice for pools up to approximately 12,000 liters

The W’eau Mini Inverter 2.0 Plus swimming pool heat pump – 4.5 kW is an excellent choice if you want to heat a compact pool in an energy-efficient way while benefiting from modern inverter technology.

With a recommended pool volume of up to approximately 12,000 liters during the normal swimming season, this 4.5 kW version is a great middle ground between the smaller 3 kW version and the more powerful models in the series.
