What does the warranty entail?
The 3-year warranty covers devices purchased from us when accompanied by a receipt or other document proving the validity of a 3-year warranty. The 3-year warranty ends three years after the device is purchased. The warranty is valid for warranty claims arising within the European continent.
A warranty claim is valid if the device you purchased has become defective due to one of the following causes:
- manufacturing error and material defect.
- direct effects of electrical energy due to earth circuit, short circuit, excessive current increase, overvoltage and the like. The warranty does not cover damage caused by external influences, such as indirect flashing in the circuit or fire damage. Such external damage may be covered under certain circumstances through your home contents insurance.
- measurement, control and safety equipment failures.
- overpressure exception explosions.
- implosion and other consequences of oppression.
- lack of water in the steam boiler and other appliances.
- eruptions due to centrifugal force.
What is not covered by the warranty?
- Wear, cracks and damage to wear-sensitive parts.
- Damage that does not affect the technical functionality of the device, such as scratches and wear.
- Damage or destruction as a result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the buyer or other users of the device.
- Damage or destruction caused by incorrect installation/assembly, by improper repairs/adjustments, by improper, unintended or unusual use or cleaning of the appliance - especially when manufacturer's instructions are not followed - and operating errors.
