Functions of the 6-way valve:

1. Filter: Water flows from top to bottom through the sand bed, removing dirt and impurities.

3. Rinse: Flushes out dirt after backwashing so the filter is ready for use.
4. Close: Closes all filter inlets and outlets when not in use.
5. Waste: Drains pool water directly to the sewer, for example, to lower the water level.
6. Recirculate: Circulates the water without passing through the sand bed, useful for chemical treatments such as algae control.
