With an interior size of 610 x 375 cm and a water capacity of no less than 23,280 litres, the GRE Ovalada offers plenty of room to swim, play and relax. Thanks to the height of 132 cm, the pool is also significantly deeper than many standard above-ground pools.

A major advantage of this model is the special support system with buried support beams. This eliminates the need for the large protruding side supports seen on many oval steel pools. As a result, the pool takes up less space and has a sleek appearance.

The set comes complete with, among other things, a 6 m³/h sand filter system, filter sand, skimmer, blue 40/100 liner, safety ladder, protective ground cloth and connection hoses.

Modern anthracite grey appearance

The GRE Ovalada immediately distinguishes itself by its beautiful anthracite grey steel outer wall. Instead of the traditional white or wood-look finish, you get a modern dark colour that fits perfectly with contemporary gardens, terraces and garden furniture.

The pool structure and profiles are made of galvanised steel. This forms a sturdy base for a pool that is intended to remain in a fixed place in the garden for a long time.

The connections between the horizontal profiles are neatly finished with plastic protective pieces.

Spacious swimming area of 610 x 375 cm

With a length of 6.10 metres, the GRE Ovalada offers significantly more swimming space than a compact round pool.

When determining the available space, it is important not only to look at the commercial pool size of 610 x 375 cm. Take into account the external dimension of 634 x 400 cm as well as sufficient free working space around the pool.

No less than 23,280 litres of water

The GRE Ovalada has a water capacity of approximately 23.28 m³, or about 23,280 litres.

This makes it a serious family pool in which several people can swim and play comfortably at the same time.

Due to the generous water capacity, good filtration is essential. That is why this version comes standard with a complete sand filter system.

No large protruding side supports

One of the most important features of this GRE Ovalada is the support system with buried beams.

A large oval pool experiences a lot of force on the long sides due to weight and water pressure. Many models use large metal side supports that stick out quite far from the pool.

With the GRE Ovalada, the construction is supported by buried beams. As a result, these large protruding side supports are not necessary.

This has two major advantages: the pool has a much sleeker appearance and you need less free space next to the pool.

The system does require careful installation. The beams must be correctly integrated into the ground during assembly.

Sturdy blue 40/100 pool liner

The inside of the pool is fitted with a blue PVC liner with a thickness of 40/100.

The liner forms the waterproof inner lining of the pool and is provided with an anti-UV treatment. This makes the material more resistant to prolonged exposure to sunlight.

The blue colour gives the pool water the fresh and clear appearance you expect from a traditional swimming pool.

When installing the liner, it is important that the surface is completely flat, clean and free of sharp objects.

Including 6 m³/h sand filter system

A pool with over 23,000 litres of water needs a good filter system. Therefore, the GRE Ovalada comes with a sand filter system with a capacity of 6 m³ per hour.

The pool water is led through the skimmer to the filter system. It then flows through the filter medium, where dirt particles are trapped. The filtered water is then returned to the pool.

With a theoretical capacity of 6 m³/h, the entire water content of 23.28 m³ can be passed through the filter system once in about 3 hours and 53 minutes. In practice, the actual flow rate is slightly lower due to resistance in hoses, pipes and the filter medium.

Including approximately 40 kg of filter sand

This complete set includes approximately 40 kg of silica sand for the sand filter.

This means you do not need to purchase separate filter sand immediately to put the included filter system into use.

Periodically backwashing the sand filter ensures that accumulated dirt is removed from the filter medium and the flow is maintained.

Skimmer included

The GRE Ovalada comes standard with a skimmer set.

The skimmer is located on the pool wall and draws in water from the surface. This ensures that leaves, insects and other floating debris are removed before they can sink to the bottom.

The water is led from the skimmer to the sand filter system and, after filtration, returned to the pool through the inlet nozzle.

Including safety ladder

Due to the height of 132 cm, a sturdy pool ladder is necessary. This is included as standard with the GRE Ovalada.

This is a safety ladder with a platform and 6 steps, divided into 3 steps on the inside and 3 on the outside.

The steps on one side can be removed. This allows you to restrict access to the pool when it is not in use.

This is a useful safety feature for families with children, but of course it never replaces supervision or other safety measures around a pool.

Protective ground cloth included

A polyethylene protective cloth is placed under the pool. This is also a standard part of the set.

The cloth forms an extra protective layer between the ground and the pool and helps to protect the underside of the liner.

However, the ground cloth is not a substitute for a correct surface. The pool must always be placed on a completely flat, sturdy and stable surface.

Complete pool set

With the GRE Ovalada, you are not just buying a steel pool. Almost all the important basic components for installation are included immediately.

You will receive the pool structure, liner, sand filter system, filter sand, skimmer, safety ladder, ground cloth and connection hoses, among other things.

This makes this set an excellent basis for creating a large permanent above-ground pool in your garden.

Installation

The GRE Ovalada is an above-ground steel pool, but the assembly is more extensive than for a simple frame pool.

Installation is estimated at approximately 7 hours of assembly time with 2 to 3 people. Please note that preparation of the ground, any concrete work, placement of the buried support beams, filling the pool and technical connection may be in addition to this.

According to the product specifications, a concrete floor slab is optional. However, a stable, load-bearing and completely flat surface is absolutely necessary.

With over 23,000 litres of water, the pool water alone corresponds to more than 23 tonnes of weight. Proper preparation of the surface is therefore very important.
