Sand filter set DK 560 - 12 m³/h

The DK 560 - 12 m³/h sand filter set is an ideal choice for filtering above-ground pools. We recommend this sand filter set for pools up to 48,000 liters of water. In addition, this set is suitable for all resistances. This means that the distance between the pool and the pump can be large and that the pump is capable of intensive vacuuming work. Medium-duty application

This filter set is ideal for medium-sized above-ground or built-in pools. With its pump capacity of 15,000 liters per hour, the pool pump is powerful enough to handle medium to heavy resistance. This means that the pump has sufficient capacity to bridge distances of 5 to 10 meters to the pool. Furthermore, a vacuum cleaner can be connected to the pump without any problems.

Complete filter set (excluding filter medium)

Get started right away with the installation of your sand filter set. The DK 560 is complete with all accessories, so you can install the set immediately. The filter set is supplied with a sand filter tank, pool pump, 6-way valve, 50 mm connection, and a plug with a residual current device (RCD). To put the filter set into use, you only need the correct amount of filter medium.

6-way valve

The DK 560 filter set is equipped with a convenient 6-way valve. This allows you to easily operate the different modes on the filter. Below, we list the modes for you and briefly explain their use.

• Filter; water flows from top to bottom into the filter tank (used 99% of the time)
• Backwash; water flows from bottom to top in the filter tank to rinse the filter material clean (use this mode when you notice reduced filtration/flow)
• Rinse; flush away dirty water after backwashing
• Close; you close all inlets and outlets
• Waste; drain pool water directly to the sewer (when you want to lower the water level)
• Circulate; allow water to flow around only, without passing through the filter (almost essential when treating with chlorine shock, for example, for green pool water)

Filter medium; sand, glass, or Aqualoon

You fill the filter tank of the DK 560 with filter sand, filter glass, or Aqualoon. This is not included as standard. Filter sand is traditionally the most used, is the cheapest, and must be replaced after approximately 5 years. Filter glass is somewhat more effective, slightly more expensive, but requires less and only needs to be replaced after 10 to 15 years. Aqualoon filter balls are the lightest filter medium and can be washed after use. The balls must be cleaned at least once per season.
