Sand filter set DK 400 - 6 m³/h

The DK 400 Sand Filter Set – 6 m³/h is a complete and reliable filter system for medium-sized above-ground pools. With a design flow rate of 6 m³ per hour and a maximum pump capacity of 8.5 m³ per hour, this sand filter set ensures powerful circulation and effective filtering of the pool water.

The DK 400 is recommended for pools with a capacity of up to approximately 24,000 liters, making it an excellent replacement for the standard cartridge filter included with many above-ground pools. Thanks to the connection options for both 32 mm and 38 mm pool hoses, the set is also easy to combine with many common swimming pools.

Powerful filtering for up to 24,000 liters

Well-filtered pool water starts with sufficient circulation. The DK 400 has a design flow rate of 6,000 liters per hour. The included pool pump has a maximum pump capacity of 8,500 liters per hour.

This makes the system suitable for pools up to approximately 24 m³ and allows the pool water to be passed through the filter multiple times a day.

The DK 400 is also suitable for installations with average resistance. This makes the set attractive even if there are a few meters of piping or pool hose between the pool and the filter system.

Top-mount 6-way valve

On top of the filter tank is a practical 6-way valve. This allows you to operate the entire filter system from one central point.

The valve has six functions:

• Filter – normal mode for filtering the pool water.
• Backwash – cleans the filter medium by reversing the flow.
• Rinse – rinses after a backwash.
• Waste – drains pool water directly without filtering it.
• Circulate – circulates water without sending it through the filter medium.
• Closed – shuts off the water flow through the valve.

This makes not only daily filtering simple, but also cleaning the filter medium and partially draining the pool.

Always turn off the pool pump before changing the position of the 6-way valve.

Filter sand, filter glass, or filter balls

A major advantage of the DK 400 is that you can decide for yourself which filter medium you want to use.

The filter tank can be filled with:

25 kg fine filter sand
21.3 kg fine filter glass
18.8 kg glass beads
approx. 700 grams of filter balls

Filter sand is the traditional and economical solution. Filter glass is lighter and generally lasts longer, while filter balls are extremely light and easy to remove from the filter tank.

The filter medium is not included by default and must be ordered separately.

Polyethylene filter tank

The filter tank is made of polyethylene and has a diameter of 365 mm. This material is light, strong, and highly resistant to the conditions around a pool.

The maximum operating pressure is 1.5 bar.

Thanks to the compact dimensions of approximately 36.5 x 66.5 cm, the filter system also takes up relatively little space.

Suitable for a pool vacuum

With a maximum pump capacity of 8.5 m³/h, the DK 400 provides sufficient suction power for connecting many traditional hydraulic pool vacuums.

You can connect a suitable pool vacuum via the skimmer or vacuum port, after which the dirt is sucked from the pool floor toward the filter system.

This makes the DK 400 suitable not only for daily water circulation but also for maintenance of the pool floor.

32 and 38 mm connections

The DK 400 is supplied with connection materials for both 32 mm and 38 mm pool hoses.

This makes the sand filter set particularly suitable as an upgrade for many above-ground pools. If the existing pool uses specific screw connections, additional adapters may be required.

230 volts with RCD protection

The pool pump operates on 230 V and has a motor power of 0.45 kW. The power consumption is approximately 0.55 kW.

The set is supplied with a plug equipped with RCD (Residual Current Device) protection, which provides extra safety when using electrical equipment around the pool.

Always install the filter system according to applicable safety regulations and on a stable, dry, and level surface.

Complete sand filter set

The DK 400 is supplied as a complete filter combination. You receive the filter tank, the pool pump, the 6-way valve, the plug with RCD protection, and the necessary connection materials for 32 and 38 mm.

You do not need to find a separate pump and a compatible filter tank yourself.

The desired filter medium and pool hoses must be purchased separately if required.
