Polystyrene end cap - PS40

With the PS40 polystyrene end cap, you seal the open ends of suitable polystyrene pool blocks before filling the walls with concrete. The end cap seals the formwork and helps prevent concrete from leaking out through the ends during filling.

The end caps are made of polystyrene, also known as Tempex. This lightweight material is easy to handle and is compatible with the polystyrene pool block construction system. A practical component for preparing the pool walls for concrete pouring.

Sealing the open block ends

When building the pool walls, open ends may be created that must be sealed before filling with concrete. Place the end caps at the bottom and top of these open ends, as specified for the construction system.

The caps seal the ends of the blocks and remain part of the formwork after filling. Check beforehand whether the end cap is suitable for the block type being used to ensure a proper fit.

Install before filling with concrete

Install the end caps while building the pool walls, before filling the blocks with concrete. Then check that all open ends are sealed and the caps are securely in place. The walls can then be filled according to the construction system's processing instructions.

The number of end caps required depends on the pool layout and the number of open block ends. Therefore, include them in your material calculation so that the formwork can be fully prepared for concrete pouring.
