The W’eau FPP-450 sand filter set is a complete and powerful solution for filtering both above-ground and inground swimming pools with a capacity of up to 36,000 litres. This set offers a design flow rate of 8 m³ per hour, which means it can filter 8,000 litres of water per hour, making it suitable for larger pools. The set is designed for low, medium, and high resistance, meaning that the piping can be long and the filter set can be connected to a pool vacuum cleaner for thorough cleaning. Filtering is performed via a Top Mount sand filter controlled by a 6-way valve, which allows you to perform various functions for optimal maintenance of your pool water.

The powerful self-priming pump is not only suitable for heavier jobs, but is also energy-efficient, ensuring that the use of the pump does not consume unnecessary energy. The filter tank is manufactured from polyethylene reinforced with polyester, making it resistant to a maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar, ensuring it is durable and strong enough for intensive use.

The W’eau FPP-450 is supplied as a complete set, including a sand filter tank, pool pump, base plate, 6-way valve, connecting hose, and the necessary connection material. The filter medium (sand or glass) is not included and can be purchased separately. Connecting the pool pump is simple thanks to the included base plate, and the RCD plug (residual current device) makes the installation safe and reliable.

Functions of the 6-way valve:

1. Filter: Water flows from top to bottom through the filter, which ensures the removal of dirt and impurities from the pool water.
2. Backwash: Water flows in the opposite direction (from bottom to top) to clean the filter material and remove accumulated dirt.
3. Rinse: Flushes away dirty water after backwashing to clean the filter for the next use.
4. Close: Closes all inlets and outlets of the filter when not in use.
5. Waste: Drains the pool water directly to the sewer, useful when you want to lower the water level.
6. Circulate: Allows the water to circulate without passing it through the filter, ideal for situations where you are performing chemical treatments such as algae control.
