The W’eau FPP-350 sand filter set is designed for the efficient cleaning and filtering of both above-ground and inground swimming pools with a capacity of up to 16,000 liters. This powerful filter set, with a design flow rate of 4 m³/h, is suitable for low to medium resistance, meaning the piping can be up to 10 meters long and you can connect the filter set to a pool vacuum. The filter set is supplied as a complete kit, including a pool pump, 6-way valve, base plate, connection hose, and installation materials.

Thanks to the Top Mount sand filter with a 6-way valve, you can easily operate and maintain the filtration. The six different positions on the valve provide maximum flexibility for filtering, rinsing, and keeping your pool water clean. The powerful, self-priming pump in this set is designed for heavier tasks, such as processing dirty pool water, and is also energy-efficient.

The filter vessel of the W’eau FPP-350 is made of polyethylene reinforced with polyester, making it resistant to a working pressure of up to 2.5 bar. This makes the filter set extremely durable and suitable for intensive use. The filter vessel can be filled with filter sand or filter glass (not included), depending on your preference for the type of filter medium.

Functions of the 6-way valve:

1. Filter: Water flows from the top to the bottom of the filter vessel to filter dirt and impurities out of the pool.
2. Backwash: Water flows from the bottom to the top to rinse the filter material clean and remove accumulated dirt.
3. Rinse: Flushes away dirty water after backwashing to keep the filter material clean.
4. Close: Closes all inlets and outlets when the pump is not in use.
5. Waste: Drains pool water directly into the sewer, for example when the water level needs to be lowered.
6. Circulate: Circulates the water without filtering it, which is useful when treating water, such as for algae control.

Filter medium:

The filter vessel of the W’eau FPP-350 can be filled with filter sand or filter glass, depending on your preference. Filter sand is a cost-effective option and only needs to be replaced every 5 years. Filter glass, on the other hand, is more durable, lasts up to 15 years, and has higher filtration efficiency, meaning you need less of it.
